The money went through on the dress I sold on ebay, and I went to post office...which isn't as scary as I thought. I've made about £13.00 and I plan to sell more. The money is going in a pot for a rainy day, as they say (who r these "they" ppl? that is what I would like to know ( Read more... )

...is it strange that the cake still looked appealing despite the recipe being oh-so-wrong? Don't worry I used real eggs, and it was chocolate with cherries on. I would show you a picture but I'm afraid it has been reduced to merely crumbs.

Tell Jeb Bush not to delist the Florida manatee from "endangered" to "threatened!"
Just in the last five years, 1682 manatees have died in Florida waters and of those, 398 were killed by boats. That is almost an 18% increase over the previous five-year period. Furthermore, state scientists estimate the manatee population could drop by half in the next 50 years because of habitat loss, red tide poisoning and boat collisions. The population is far from stable.

Oh! Maybe I should read the whole thing before I tell you to go there under pretences that it was happy and good thing...I thought it was just about getting a manatee as your background. Stupid skim reading! The sad plight of the manatee makes me sad.

Ohh, happy ebaying! It's SO FUN and great and makes you money, although this is then stuck in paypal online somewhere. I made my mum buy the recycled toilet roll. Although that sounds suitably dodgy said like that...

I missed lasange. I am crap. I am going to give you a present because of it. It's something I bought for myself which I love but it's a testament of my woe that I am going to give this to you. OHMYGOD. It will be hard. You will see it on Wednesday.

Don't worry about giving me a present, especially one that you bought for yourself. I accept your apology. I can't say that I wasn't a little upset and angry tho...and hungry (at the time), but hey, alcohol is a great healer!!!

I'm glad you gave me the present, a badge of antarctica is like the coolest thing EVER. I know I shouldn't have accepted it...but its way too cool to give bk...so sorry!lol

no you should have accepted it! I had a few days of getting used to life without it, and if it were thrust upon me now i wouldn't know what to do and might accidentally destroy it in my fervour of excitement.
