First time alone in my car
Travelling on A Roads in the rain with big ol lorries is scary...but fun :)! I got home and found I had a missed call from my mother, so I phoned her back. All she wanted to ask was whether I'd got home safe from townley. Conversation went a little something like this:
Mum: Did you get home safe from Townley?
Me:Yes after dropping amy home.
Mum:What Amy who lives in Eltham?
Me: Yes, down the A2 in the rain with big scary lorries.
Mum: Oh...you went on the A2?
Me: Yes
Mum:Oh well your home now and safe.
Me: yes, why wouldn't i be?
Mum: Oh erm, ok well i'm going food shopping so i won't be home til late.
Me: ok, bye
What was her problem? I mean I kno she's being protective, but what did she I was like not gonna drive my car to places other than bexleyheath. Parents are strange, strange creatures....and galaxy chocolate doesn't melt in the mouth as good as green and blacks.
