I'm going to make more of an effort to post in lj. I've neglected it for about a year. Plus, since I have an awesome camera, I'm going to be more picture oriented. Ergo, some old as pictures from my visit to DC:
Aren't these gates just audacious? I believe this was the day of Lunar New Year. There was a cute little parade past these gates. If I recall, it was cold as hell on this day:
During my visit, we drove around a new housing neighborhood that had some McMansions. This was the model house, and I LOVE it. Notice the dirty snow on the ground:
