nyc update: i'm here!
I'm finally here in NYC. I arrived yesterday night around 9PM and moved into my place this morning at 8AM. It was hectic, and I felt really sorry for the movers b/c they have to walk up four flights of stairs with all my crap. I'll post pictures of my cozy new place soon. And, by cozy, I mean TINY. Actually, it's the biggest studio I've seen in NYC (which really doesn't mean much).
In the meantime, I'm going to be staying at Corporate housing for awhile. it's nice b/c the cable and internet people aren't going to be showing up until next Friday. Boo :(.
on the bright side, corporate housing has a whole foods and jamba juice right around the corner! woohoo! i bought some food for the rest of teh week so i'm not tempted to blow my entire savings on junk food.
also, i'm really tempted to camp out here forever b/c the boxes of stuff the movers put in my apartment is literally piled up to the ceiling. i have no idea how i'm supposed to get that crap unpacked.
i'm really excited to explore the city b/c i don't start work for another couple of weeks. but, it's so freaking cold here that i'm tempted to buy some warm hats. and i hate hats.
anyway, i'll update more as i get settled in. i think i have to update on this thing more. but i always say that.
