I'm so happy to know that you like Naruto too. <333 He was the only reason I followed the series in the beginning, but now even he is not enough for me to keep up with the bullshit that seems to never cease with this series anymore. D:

Yeah, I'm not keeping up anymore either. Haven't read any in ages. At least now I can sense the series beginning its wind to a close, just like Bleach. It'll be weird without two of the three major shounen manga.

By the way, if you've dropped it but still have feelings for Minato and/or Kushina and/or Uzumaki family bonding, you need to read chapters 496 and 497. <3333 They are mighty amazing. <3

Oh, really?! I will get right on that. I keep seeing the updates on Naruto comms and thinking I should go catch up, but ultimately am too lazy to. :P But any appearance/mention of Minato or Kushina's got me right there!

I know exactly what you mean because usually I am the same way too--I know there's a new chapter out but I never sit down to read it because this series has pretty much lost its shine to me.

But the two latest chapters definitely bring about a change with them. <333 I love seeing Kushina so much. <3 She has to be one of the most awesome characters in this entire series. D: It's such a pity we can't get to have her around. Dx

I just read it. Thanks for convincing me to catch up! It was cute. :3 And it's so awesome that Naruto wanted to know the same thing we all did! Well, the same thing a lot of us did.

I'm in the process of making a Kushina cosplay, and this has helped me a lot, haha. I'm doing it as before she was pregnant (because it is SO hard to fake pregnancy convincingly), so I just made up an outfit. The one I designed is almost exactly the same as the one she's wearing when Minato saves her. That is... what a massive coincidence! The only real difference is that the colour materials I bought is inverted, which is highly irritating. Ah well. I'll have to go buy some more. Totally worth it. I'm still kinna in shock that I was inadvertantly making almost the right costume. O.O

Tee hee hee, I'm really glad I convinced you too. :D They are awesome chapters, totally worth tuning in on a dropped series just to check on them. xDDD And I was so overjoyed by the fact that's what Naruto wanted to know and by the entire exchange between mother and son. <333 That was so cute. <333 I think that it was a bit surreal to Naruto when he met Minato and he told him he was his father. I think the boy has really set ideas about who Minato is and what he has done and how great he is, which is why I don't think he managed to assimilate the fact the fourth Hokage is his father. But with Kushina, someone he has never heard anything about but knows needs to have existed at some point in time, I think he warmed up immediately. Because he did not have any pre-set expectations of her, because she didn't have any other way of existing in his heart other than as the figure of "mother, the one who brought him to life

I'm so happy he got to meet both parents. :3 And I think you're pretty spot on with that analysis. When Naru met Minato there wasn't really much affection to speak of (as far as I can recall), but with Kushina... well, she was pretty motherly, hee.

My god, it's doing my head in! And thank you! Hopefully it'll all work out. I've only got a week to make it, haha. I think a good quantity of cosplays are done in the week before cons, though. :P
