SUMMAH
I am having a shit day - so I'm going to cheer myself up by listing A LIST OF THINGS I WANT TO DO THIS SUMMER IN A FEW WEEKS WHEN UNI IS OVER:
-Go to the Christmas pageant! Yay sunshine and kids playing in the streets and drawing with chalk all over the city roads!
-Buy art supplies! Acrylic paints, canvasses, watercolours. EXPERIMENT and have fun like I used to in High School. Basically just paint and draw and let loose with all sorts of artsy stuff.
-Go to Moonlight Cinema with some friends and bring a picnic basket with sandwiches and fruit salad and maybe some wine. YUM.
-Drink a Pinha Collada on a deck-chair on the beach.
-Spend a whole day at the beach. This includes walking around a beach-related town.
-MAKE SANDCASTLES. I USED TO MAKE THE MOST KICK-ARSE SAND SCULPTURES.
-Have a girly catch-up at an outdoor cafe. Actually we have to do this several times.
-Have a picnic with tea, cakes and fabulous dresses. JADE, YOU MUST HELP ME OUT WITH THIS ONE.
-Spend a whole day filming random things and making it into a ridiculous one-minute Lynchian arthouse movie.
-Write!
-Spend at least a week of drawing back-to-back pages for Mary Sue Academy, so that I'll have like six or seven pages back-up.
-GO BOWLING! I haven't been bowling since year nine.
-GO ICE-SKATING! I also haven't been ice-skating since year nine. Or ten. Or something.
-Spend an afternoon in the art gallery, while wearing a fabulous dress of course.
-Go shoe shopping. I hate shoe shopping, but I need new shoes. Badly.
-Take photos. I'm going to go around and take photos of pretty things. I may spend a day taking photos. Hopefully with a new camera.
-Have mates over for swimming and some movies.
-Make home-made ice blocks with different juice variations, and eat them while swimming and/or watching movies!
-Go driving around Adelaide to see if anyone is going to bother putting up Christmas decorations this year (yay for the financial crisis!)
-Go see the Christmas tree get lit up in the city. ^_^
-GO TO THE MARS BAR. IT IS A TRAVESTY THAT I STILL HAVE NOT BEEN THERE.
