Cynicism reaches an all new high

Someone once said that people are inherently good. Then I see that horrible thing on the news with that father who kept his daughter in a dungeon for over twenty years, raping her repeatedly and forcing her to have his children.

I'm also writing an essay on Adolf Hitler for History class.

It makes the 'people are inherently good' thing kinda hard to believe.
