This weekend was not too shabby with a trip to Coney Island and some vegging out back at the house. Missy came by on Friday who joined Testa and I for the finale of I Love the 90s. I got the game, Chronicles of Riddick from Scott that day, so when Missy left and Testa went to sleep I spent the rest of the night playing it.
I woke up earlier the next morning then I had hoped and was then persuaded by Liz to still attend Siren Festival in Coney Island, which I'm glad I did. We met up in Manhattan and took the Q train over, before meeting up with Sarah and George. The rest of the day was spent hanging out with them as well as Gayle and her friends, cruising the boardwalk, and checking out some pretty sweet bands. I got to see Blonde Redhead and Death Cab for Cutie live for the first time and also found out about this band, TV on the Radio, who sounded really good from what we got to catch of their set. After Death Cab finished we all headed back to the train station and parted ways. Liz and I went back to the city where we grabbed some weird food and then had Cold Stone for dessert. I had the berry delight ice cream while Liz made this fudge, banana, and brownie one that was the business! When I got back to the house I found some drunken friends of mine chilling in the basement, including Pat, Megan, Pete, and the usual bunch. I said hi to all of them and then headed upstairs where I crashed for the night.
I didn't do much yesterday, which was actually nice, except download some new tunes, play video games, and watch a bunch of TV. I caught the new Ali G season as well as the South Park marathon of their most outrageous episodes, all of which were hilarious. Now I'm at work trading some of my movie stocks, which might I add, is going rather well. If only I knew as much about the real stock market as I do movies I'd be a very rich man.
