This weekend was pretty tame and I'm kind of glad. I needed one where I wasn't running around the entire time, so this was a nice change of pace. Friday night Testa and I decided to chill and watch Half Baked, during which Flip made it over from North Carolina. The next day I hung out with Flip and Stef, who came to visit after seeing some of her friends in Manhattan. Flip and I had Q'doba and caught up a little, met up with Stef, grabbed some ice cream, hung out, and then headed over to Laurent's going away party later that night. I mostly chilled in a corner table with Stef during the night because she didn't really know anyone and I wasn't too familiar with some of the alumni myself. We started mingling later on though and decided to head out come midnight, after which we watched a few episodes of Family Guy and hit the beds. The next morning we said our goodbyes to Flip and wished him luck before hitting up Panera for lunch. I dropped Stef off at the train station and then went back to the house to watch Butterfly Effect with James. The movie wasn't too bad even though it was a little hard to take Ashton Kutcher seriously. I realized after the movie that I still had nothing to do so I asked Beauchamp and James if they wanted to watch Fight Club. The movie rocked as always (don't worry, no head shaving this time) and then I headed to my computer to talk to Gayle before calling it a night.
Today was spent pretty much procrastinating and pretending to do work while in actuality I was taking care of my Verizon bill, looking up times for Fahrenheit 9/11 (which I will be seeing in less then an hour), and also checking out how feasible a trip to Italy would be in August. Things are looking a little grim in that department though, at the moment. The reason for the bleakness are prices and the fact that I should have thought of this trip earlier, but I'm still going to see what I can find. If worse comes to worse perhaps a trip to Hawaii is in order instead :) Sweet.
