home for the weekend
I ended up spending the weekend at home with the fam which, surprisingly, went rather well. I came home on Saturday with my huge sack of laundry and put my Mom to work, having her do it for me and make me ravioli. Yes, I'm an ass, but I don't want her getting rusty while I'm living on campus. Haha. After I finished eating we all sat down to watch Lord of the Rings 3, which I forgot how much hurts your ass from sitting there for so long. After everyone headed to bed I stayed up a little and chilaxed before hitting my bed for some much needed sleep. The next day I slept in a little and then decided to take my sister with me to see the new Harry Potter movie. She actually behaved herself and the kids in the theater were surprisingly quite the entire length of the movie, so it was an overall good movie experience. Not to mention Harry Potter is the ish! We all ate Chinese food together for dinner and tried explaining politics to Michelle, which isn't easy. It all started with her saying something along the lines of, "I wish we could be barbarians." Sigh... Silly kids and their mastery of nonsense. I headed back to school after that, talked to Renee and then Gayle, before heading to bed. And now... work.
