4 day weekend

Since my boss gave me Friday off I was able to be around for most of work week at the house and got to clean the place up pretty well. Ducky and I were finally able to work on our room, which is much spacier now and is, dare I say it, the business! Friday night a bunch of the brothers and the new guys all went out to eat after which we watched The Game in the living room. Saturday a bunch of us got together and we went to Seaside to stroll around the boardwalk. We visited the alumni at their shore house and then Jeff's friends, who also had their own place not too far away. Jimmy and Taylor got a little too drunk and made asses of themselves, but then again, they are momos. In a drunken haze, Jimmy ended up getting lost on his own and wasn't found until hours later with his shoes missing and a busted lip. He's not even sure what happened. I think he got his ass kicked.

Sunday and Monday were rather lazy days, but I finally got to do some food shopping, which was much needed. I tried to bargain shop but still ended up buying 60 bucks worth of stuff. Shite! Oh well, I know it will last me for a long time though. I always feel funny doing food shopping on my own now. I feel more like an adult and an old one at that. I get the circular, pick out sale items, make sure I don't buy too much junk food, squeeze the fruits to make sure they are ripe. I dunno, I just picture adults doing that stuff. Not me.

Oh well. We made Philly cheese steaks last night, which were pretty good. Tonight I eat sushi. Sweet!
