thanks for the reply, as it stands I'm somewhat new to LiveJournal so I have no idea what I'm doing half the time.
in regards to the Mime thing, well, sure why not? to be honest it was Hippy that sorta gave us that title, because we just decided to wear white make-up with some black, it was Pam that decided to sort act out the Mime routine when we first showed up and I sorta followed suit. then Hippy asked us if we were evil mimes and we were like 'yeah, I guess so'.
we may end up wearing variations of the mime make-up depending on our mood, cuz most of the time we usually try to go for something a little different each time we go to Rocky, so as not to be redundant and boring.
anyway, I totally understand the feeling of natural high. I've experienced that a few times performing in high school plays or in concerts.
i know we would've missed some stuff, but that's the point, getting in good and early means we don't miss anything, especially the segment regarding the rules and the devirginizing ceremony.
I do have one gripe though, it's about the film itself, for one thing it doesn't start off with the whole 20th Century Fox thing or the slow build up we normally see on the DVD. cuz there's a cool thing in audience participation where we go 'A long time ago in a galaxy far far away, God said let there be lips, and there were lips and it was good' which pretty much leads into 'Science Fiction Double Feature'. also there are this noticeable jumps in the film almost like when a record or CD skips, it can be a little distracting, but not all that bad though, it's just a minor thing though. I'm sure you guys have noticed, and I'm certain if you could do something about it, you would've done it by now.
anyway, one of the things I wanted to do last week was bring a bouquet of flowers, specifically for a certain portion in the show when you as Frank do 'I'm Going Home' and you come to the end of the song and people are clapping, cheering and applauding, I would've leapt from my seat and handed you the bouquet, it's silly I know, i just thought it would've been cool.
I'm glad that I was able to make your day, it makes me feel good that I have in some small way managed to brighten up a person's day.
