It's Here! :3 (ЯRII of course)
Finally, in the post today was a very large parcel wrapped in white, blue and orange that said 'Japan Post Service'. I knew that after two weeks of impatient waiting, Gackt's latest DVD had been delivered to my door all the way from Nihon itself.
'Requiem et Réminiscence II' was recorded live at the Saitama Super Arena almost a year ago, at the tour final. After two postponements and four long months of further editing and perfecting, the actual release date was Wednesday 31st March. In the two weeks since, I have been wondering what happened to it (the last item I bought from HMV Japan was abingdon boys school's new album, Abingdon Road, that only took a week to arrive) but at last it is here for my enjoyment.
The cover photo is even more amazing in real life, and the tracklist is neatly arranged into four sections on the back. Thanks to my studying Japanese for the first time this year, I was able to read the actual names of the songs at last, and I completely honestly didn't know that 'Papa Lapped a Pap Lopped' is actually called 'Paparapa Paparapa'!
Opening the case, a neatly shaped holder containing the first disc flips over to reveal the second on the back, and the third embedded within the back of the case. The booklet itself contains all the credits, as well as lyrics for all the songs accompanied by screencaps of the performances. Also, a small flyer for Gackt's newest releases and advertising the Dears fanclub was inside, with a mini concert ticket! This was simply a mini joke, with the location 'Your House' for example. Thanks to Amaiakuyume for translating this at an earlier stage, the other side, written in Japanese, is just as funny.
I have attached numerous photos of this amazing DVD. For now, I shall spend the next few hours in bliss.
