post-exam return to normality
Exams are over! The listening exam was OK, and my Society module exam was great, but the written one... was horrible. We haven't even done half the kanji that came up in the translation, and the reading was passable at best. I felt my composition wasn't bad though - the topic was もったいない ("wasteful"), so I wrote about people wasting food and water when there's others going without. A bit cliche but meh. I also got two essays back with a first in each, so that cheered me up greatly.
Now it's back into the routine of lectures. Well, a new one anyway. With new modules, new topics and new lecturers, I want to do my best and get to Japan in September. That's when this will all pay off, in a big way.
