all we can do is hold on

Week 1 isn't even over yet but already a ton of stuff has happened. Grammar classes weren't as bad as I was dreading, probably due to Nagai sensei being such a wonderful teacher. I genuinely enjoyed the writing one, though to be fair there wasn't much writing being done. Speaking on the other hand was a little bit of a shock to the system, it's been so long since i did any. I swear I've forgotten all of last year's lessons already >.< Already we have to do a mini speech on our summer holiday in friday's lesson... thanks Takahashi sensei.

Tomorrow I have two completely new classes for which I'm a little bit apprehensive. I've been doing kanji revision like mad but I'm nowhere near done yet, which could be an issue in translation class and reading class. Especially since in reading all the material is completely new to us - no preparation there then. And on friday I have my first non-language module, contemporary Japanese society, which should be interesting.

On the leisure side of things (is there still time for that?!) my amazing Ultimate Loot Chest edition of Borderlands 2 arrived yesterday... and upon playing it for the first time, my PS3 promptly died on me for a second time. Great. Well I was able to make a backup of my 3-hour-or-so save file so I shouldn't lose much this time, but I will need to buy a new console soon. Good job my student loan has finally appeared in my account xD

And as for music, I'm awaiting the post still for my copy of UNDIVIDE, and a.b.s' new single. Sometimes Yesasia can be really inconsistent with their postage times ¬_¬ And then in a couple of weeks my next order of Versailles' last album and Sadie's new one will be dispatched. So there's some stuff to look forward to.

For now, with my PS3 dead and my music not arriving, there's nothing to do but revise and do my out-of-class work. Which is probably a good thing. Ganbatte, self.
