Update: Uni Haz Happened
So I made it to Sheffield in one piece, and this freshers stuff is mental. I've basically been out every night since I got here (sunday) so I'm taking tonight off - gotta get up early for registration tomorrow. Then I'm out for a 4-room club at the Students Union on thursday, which of all people has Mat Horne from Gavin & Stacey as MC xD Then on saturday iirc there's this mental sound system called Valve which promises to be an epic night. And ofc Freshers Ball, themed for James Bond this year, which is the day before Versailles, if I can make it to London. So it's a busy time, don't expect much out of me for the moment, same for you who know me on FB.
There's some cool stuff I've already been to, a great second hand/new CD & Vinyl store, where I'm probably gonna go back and buy a cheap Enter Shikari album - they're playing a gig up here in Sheffield in a few weeks, kinda tempted to go. In fact, the most awesome concert of all I've seen in the near future is Red Hot Chili Peppers! Playing ins Sheffield O2 Academy? What is this madness? I hope it's not sold out, those guys were like the music of my younger days and now I might actually see them live. That might just soften the blow if I can't get to Versailles :/
