I haven't written in here since the day after the election, crazy but not really.

I don't usually like to brag or anything...but i'm pretty sure I made the best mix in my 93 mix history about a month ago. I'm pretty sure it's the only one i've ever made that I have been able to listen to consecutively day in, day out and I mean that in all seriousness being that my house has 4 tvs and no cable hookup whatsoever, not even your basics. Needless to say music is pumping 14 hours a day at least. I will supply the playlist 1. Heiruspecs- Memory 2. The Avalanches- Yamaha Superstar 3. Trey Parker- America, Fuck yeah 4. Beck- Everybodys gotta learn sometime 5. Buck 65 and Sage Francis- wicked and weird 6. Heiruspecs- 5ves 7. Cake- Jolene 8. Joni Mitchell- Both Sides now 9. The flaming lips- yoshimi vs. the pink robots 10. Coheed and cambria- A favor house atlantic 11. Benny Banassi- Satisfaction 12. Heiruspecs- Marching Orders 13. Jamie cullum- frontin' 14. Ursula- Poor unfortunate souls 15. Fiona Apple- Sleep to dream 16. The white stripes- girl go away 17. the faces- ooh la la 18. Wu tang clan- liguor swords (quite possibly my fav song this whole past year) and 19. Cat Stevens- peace train (i know a few cats that would appreciate that one)

There are so many things going right right now.
I have befriended someone that I have looked at as an inspiration/hero/amazing talent for the past two years and am completely floored that we have had contact and talk on a semi-regular basis. We will finally get to hang out over thanksgiving break (hopefully) and I am afraid that I won't have the ability to form words, but who needs them?

5 of my closest girl friends and I signed on our house for next year and it's more than I could have asked for in a home, i.e 2 blocks from campus, washer and dryer, dishwasher, MASSIVE closets and room sizes, main floor porch upstairs balcony porch aka my cigar cove,3 bathrooms, 3 finsished floors etc. I'm pretty sure i've already 'journal'd' about this house but it still doesn't seize to amaze me in all it's splendor.

Cox and I made snowflakes to addorn our home with, they are cute. Immaturity got the best of me and you know those cut out people you can make to look like they are all holding hands and stuff? well...lets just say I made my own version of those in penial form.

Everyone I have ever come in contact with is getting their ass kicked by school i'm pretty sure, but I guess that's normal.

Thanksgiving break is going to be nice, i've only come back to stillwater once twice this semester for a wedding anniversary and once out of desperation for laundry. I've had major food horniness lately particularly for Figlios ginger sesame chicken skewers, berry lime sublime jamba, as well as your favorite and mine, chipotle.

I don't know that I would have any clue how to drive a car anymore.
Blow is a freaking sweet ass movie that I watched twice in one night I was so impressed by it.

random side note. First of all, I have only gotten the least bit woozy once in my life and that was when I went to Bucas for dinner with j. preiner, c. gilbert, c. mogren and pretty much the entire girls bball team for the class of 2k2 and they convince naive amy (me) to put an ice cube on my bare arm and then slowly pour table salt over it and I will experience "the coolest feeling ever" not only did it burn my skin beyond belief due to the chemical reaction but i also felt faint at the site of my blackened skin and immedietly ran outside and was brought back to reality by the cold sting of the air.

Flash forward approximately 4 years.
I was in womens studies class the other day and the topic of discussion was abortion and there was discussion, and I was slightly surprised at the lack of heat I received for being completely pro-choice in a pro-life dominated class which is weird in itself..anyways, we watch a video that's title escapes me but it had jada pinket smith, anne heche, cher, demin moore and sissy spacek in it. The movie documented how the views and practices of abortion have changed from the 50's to the 90's. In the 50's mini-video demi moores character was unable to find anyone willing to perform an abortion on her so she decided to how shall we say attempt to self-abort her baby with the use of knitting needles. I'm not sure if it was the camera angle, the thought or what but all of a sudden I could not see to the left or right of me and my head would not stay up. I looked over at my friend Ari and she yelled at me to go out into the hall and get some water because i had zero color in my face and my lips were white. Upon standing up I tripped 3 times getting out of the classroom while hugging the wall. I stumbled out into the hallway and that's when I experienced my first faint, ever. Quite possibly the scariest feeling ever. I'm pretty sure there was a solid 6 minutes when I looked and felt like will ferrell upon receiving the dart to the jugular in old school. I was out for 20 seconds and no ambulence was needed or anything, I didn't hit my hit and luckily I have great friends that took care of me, it was just a rather odd experience I wanted to share with you.

Can we hang out soon? There's lots more to tell you.
