So my power is finally back after over 24 hours of sitting around doing nothing. Thank God.
On Thursday, i was just sitting around watching drake and josh, and all of a sudden...it turns off. so i was like 'oh it'll be back in a few seconds.' and...it didn't come back. it was like 7 and it was getting dark outside...so my sister and i are just like 'fuck.'
so i did a whole lot of nothing after that...listened to some music...ate...and then lori called me and we talked for like half an hour. then she had to go somewhere, so i sat around for even longer. i was so. bored. but a few hours later, lori called me back and we talked for a long time. what an entertainer.
so it was like 9 and i'm like 'only two hours have passed?!?! NOOOOOO' so i walked in circles, and i did anything i could to make the time pass. it was NOT working. it was getting really hot due to all of the candles, and no fan or air conditioning, so i decided to lay down on the cold tile. it was brilliant. =D sooo i stayed there for like half an hour, and then my parents decided we might as well go to sleep. i was like 'can i please have one of the flashlights' and they're like 'no...the batteries will waste too fast. we don't know how long we're going to be without power' so i was like 'NOOOOO' because...i can't sleep without light (i'm such a nerd) and then my mom gives me this teeny tiny flashlight. i was like 'what is THAT!?' she's like 'your nightlight.'
ugh.
i finally fell asleep, but i woke up a million times throughout the night because it was so bloody hot. i didn't even know what time it was. after waking up for the thousandth time, i picked up my phone and it was 8 am. i went downstairs and did even more nothing. at one point i got so bored that i played Life against myself. yeah. my dad goes 'what a day.' and i'm like 'you're telling me! i'm already in debt.' -sigh- the things boredom can do to you. damn you, katrina!
at around 2, my aunt called asking us if we wanted to go over there. at first i was like 'nooo too long! i want to be here when the power comes back so i can jump around like an idiot.' but then my mom's like 'no let's just go.' so i got ready, and we left.
when we got there i was like 'OMG POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' it was so...beautiful. so we sat around for awhile...and then i fixed cindy's internet (-pops collar-) and we ate. yummmmm. real, hot food. it had seemed like years since i had eaten. lmao.
at like 6? i called lori to see how her and the family were doing. they got their power back at like 5 =D and jimbo came up with the brilliant idea to stretch a big extension cord between both of our houses. LMAO!!! so i talked to lori for awhile, and then my cousins and i decided to go to blockbuster. we went and rented club dread, because we had seen it together a long time ago and we wanted to make fun of it again.
we got to blockbuster, got the movie, and then we went to publix to buy some snacks...theeen we came home, played with nelly's rifle thing, almost knocked eachother out...and then we went back inside to watch the movie.
after the movie ended, i checked my mail, and then my mom said it was time to go...so they got us two thermoses (thermosi, thermeese, whatever the plural to thermos is.) of hot water and a lot of ice, and we came back to my house.
we still didn't have power. ugh.
i called lori to tell her that i was home, and that i still didn't have power. stupid fat hobbit of a generator. we talked for a long time and then my dad's like 'okay...we need to save your cell phone battery just in case' so we hung up...and then too long
i didn't want to sleep upstairs because it was TOO FAR! (i'm lazy.) so my sister and i stayed downstairs on the couches...at like 11, i opened my eyes and all of a sudden i heard 'fffsssshhhhmmmMMMMM' and all these lights turned on and i'm like IT'S BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACKKKKK!!!!!! and i ran around like a little monster. my sister and i were like 'OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG IT'S BACK!!!!!!!' and then my parents woke up, and it was so exciting! LMAO!
so i called lori again (sorry for calling so late) and i told her and she was dying. LMFAOO i was so happy. so we were talking and watching ed edd and eddy and all of a sudden...it shuts off. i'm like 'no. no...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO' and then it came back. =D and then it left...and then it came back...x23984.
after talking for awhile, lori was like 'no i have to go, i have to wake up early' and then i look at my phone and my battery was about to die so i was like 'woah' so then we hung up...and i slept. in a nice, cold room.
now i am watching my dear harry potter dvd (which i had missed so much lmao) and drinking a cold soda. i might get a new phone today, but i'll still have the same number. too long for school on monday.
