What its like

Oct 25, 2007 11:10

I spend my days thus:
wake up at 8am (!!) reheat dinner makes breakfast
goes online to chat with everyone and gossip and webcam
apply to every single job that marie forwards me or that I see from mandy.com
leave house
go home and apply to jobs some more.

no one replies. Of course Ive only been here for a week, and I only started emailing
4 days ago, but unemployment is not enjoyable at all.

I would love to walk dogs. I saw a Jack Russell walking down the street and started crying midstep. Really, the only times I've cried in this city are when I see small dogs or think about my dog or see stray dog fur still attached to my laptop bag (Jack Russells are big shedders). Otherwise I am fine. Just yesterday I was staring at a lady holding her Jack Russell, it was white and short haired and had almost all the same spots as Sushi. It was almost identically bratty. My nose got twitchy and my eyes red in half a second and I knew I would start bawling if I stayed. It's different with her -- my family I get to talk to, my friends I get to talk to, but sushi doesnt even know where I am , and why I am not home yet? The thing is that I did sit down with her and try to explain the situation before I left, but her eyes got all glassy and she told me, mommy why do you say such sad things? Let's play instead.

Anyway. These are jobs I applied to today. If I get either or I think I will become the coolest person alive. or at least the stories will be incredible. Haha. I miss you all! :) Come visit please. My globe number is now officially dead, so email me or ym me instead. LOVE, LIA
