emo rap: um..?

ok children here is something new, that i wasn't sure if it actually existed: emo rap. started probably by the white children who couldn't decide if they wanted to be like eminem or chris carraba. So they said hey lets have them mate and there the evolution on emo rap!!! um.. does anyone else find that strange, i mean i know artists are trying to recreate themselves and other genre's but emo rap?

i was reading about this little phenomenon, and decided to formulate an opinion to justify its means. instead of singing with a guitar they rap, but instead of saying they wanna freak this or that person, and some crap about crystal, it emulates their feelnigs and screams about their love anguishes. its still hip hop whether given any other solid name. they break free of their protective bubble and add some water to create their emo edge. albums of this kind can probably sell 100,000 copies just because it appeals to the hip hop crowd, but i don't think this is thick enough cement to hold any emo fans. i hope this clears things up a little.

-i am excited becasue vagrant records the holders of taking back sunday, thurday and many others is debuting another wonder called Bayside: sirens and condolences, sounds interesting. i was also opening the ears to a beautiful mistake, and they are not bad... i have giggles.
