just my f-ing luck.
The post office is on strike until next Wednesday. They STILL have not delivered a package which was dispatched a week ago today. Today Olly came up and said "Susan, a package from Amazon came!" but it was the 9L stockpot I ordered with the remainder of my gift certificate money, which had been delivered by a parcel service and not the Royal Mail. I've never had delivery service this bad from RM, and the strike didn't even start until today. There should have been a good solid week for it to get to me, and now I'm going to have to wait until after the strike finishes to claim it lost in the mail. So aggravating, when pretty much everything I'm getting for my birthday is in that package, and it'll be over two weeks late by the time it gets here.
Well, I guess the package from my mom has yet to come, and that's actually my main gift. It shouldn't be handled by royal mail, either... but I think that it defaults to a subsidiary company of theirs which may not be privatised, so they could be on strike too...
Rage. All I wanted to do was get one of my Sims married w/ the honeymoon option...
Also, my CHOMP icon is unusable now ;_; I'm sad.
