That happened faster than I thought.
Congrats to Michael/Mikey/the Queesh, my brother, and the other St. Ignatius grads of '06. It went by so quickly, and I have so many fond and not-so-fond memories of it all. Forward with life, I say! 's marvelous.
Today I also packed away many clothes that I will not see again until July 3 or thereabouts. My friend Syd was in town visiting her bf, and she agreed to take a piece of luggage back to Cincinnati so that another guy could take it to Paris with him where he'll be participating in the same summer program as us. So I parted with those clothes... thus preparing for Europe happened much faster than I had expected.
I have a letter to write, ABF to listen to (Fine Young Cannibals at the moment), and getting sober to do. Yay for Strongbow in Lakewood... because it was delicious.
So I have a week and a half left in Cleveland before leaving for Europe. Here's a list of semi-planned and planned activities. It's probably terribly important that I see you before I leave, so take note... this is also probably an incomplete list... in fact, I guarantee it is because, well, there are many things not on here. I know it. And I haven't even written it yet. Wow.
1) Where is Kate? Because I haven't spent time with her yet! Congrats to her siblings and their graduation!
2) Sharron - vertigo stole our time away.
3) Greg is in on Thursday. I haven't forgotten. I'm totally pumped. We're going to have fun... Should I plan something?
4) My last 4 days at work! Woo! I love work! Alphabetization! Research! Liberal politics! Yes, please.
5) Having a car to myself after Wednesday. Limitless driving. Limited gasoline consumption - let's be conscienscious consumers here, folks.
6) Friday and Saturday with my dad, white water rafting in West Virginia... I'm looking forward to it. I love white water. Just like I love me some White Castle.
7) Brian will be in town after this week for a bit... Steak-n-Shake is preordaned. The planets told me so. So did the rock outside my sidedoor.
8) There's an 80s Night on Wednesdays at the Symposium so I here. I want to go. Badly.
9) Katie McG - I love you. Can you stand to spare to spend a few more minutes with me?
10) I just ate at Sullivan's Irish tavern in Lakewood. I need to work out some.
