Best Date EVER

Jan 06, 2006 01:20

So he just left, and I'm very happy right now.

As for our "date," this is what we did:
1) Retro Night (70s/80s) at Brookpark Roller Skate for two solid hours, and they know GREAT music... plus I want to roller skate like some of the awesome people that we saw there tonight. Neither of us fell once, though he had to teach me to slow down and stop because I would have just kept going until running into someone or something.
2) White Castle run... what about a man's stomach? And we both love White Castle and our stomachs are made of iron, so it wasn't a problem. OH! And they have Barq's Red Cream Soda there... AMAZING, I didn't know we had it in Cleveland.
3) Witnessed an accident on the W. 150th Bridge by I-71... I pulled to the side and made sure the 6 drivers were OK, which they all were. Only car damage. But it was too damned icy for anyone to stop, so it was just lots of collisions, right in front of us.
4) Cannibal: the Musical!... well, not really, because "Peewee's Playhouse" was the video inside the Cannibal sleave. Very upset, especially because it wasn't PeeWee's big movie, which is a glorious cinematic work of art. "Good Morning Mr. Breakfast!"
5) Freeway - not as good as Cannibal, but enjoyable.
6) Good ending.

I'm leaving for Nicaragua in a little over one week. I can't believe this all happens at the same time.

Roller skating is awesome, you should all do it. In fact, I plan on making it a part of my life upon return to Cleveland and Cincinnati.

Regardless, it was the best date I've ever gone on. I'm grateful for meeting someone who pushes my boundaries.
