My Little Sister and I have done the following together:
1. Attended Shalom Sankofa (Jewish & Black) Tour of the Hill District (with yummy cookies)
2. Volunteered at Family House (similar to Ronald McDonald House but for patients and families of any age) distributing clean linens & checking to make sure rooms are ready for new guests
3. Watching sneak preview of Dreamer
She's a very sweet girl. She said that a lot of kids in her school are Jewish, so they can't celebrate Halloween at school but can dress up as their favorite book character!
I have to dress up for Halloween at work or else pay $5 to the Neighbor in Need fund. LOL! I'm going to wear my zebra pajamas.
I'm going to Harrisburg for Adult Protective Services training from Oct. 31 until Nov. 3.
I've been at my job now for 5 months! Two of my consumers whom I've met have already passed away, and unfortunately I'm going to have to get used to my consumers dying. I'm enjoying getting to know my consumers and co-workers better.
