Sang karaoke last night. I love going when it starts because there aren't a lot of people there and you can sing more than once. I was able to sing three times.
My friend Roberta and I wanted to find a duet to sing, but couldn't, so we ended up with the Shoop Shoop Song. And it was FUN! Always more fun to make a fool out of yourself with someone than alone. Hee hee hee.
I also sang Love Song by Sara Bareillis and In His Eyes from Jeckyll and Hyde. Was very afraid of IHE because I hadn't ever sang it in public before. BUT I didn't crack much and was able to hit all the higher notes. I can't say high notes, because sopranos would laugh at how low my voice is. And I got applause (more than just polite applause, too!) so that was fun. In fact, the DJ told me I needed to come back. Not sure whether she was wowwed by my amazing talent or just needed people to show up.
So I will! Next Saturday. Any takers to come with me?
