Hello fellow live journalists,

Guess what! I have a new companion aiding me with this entry…Vivian! My new room mate! We’re going to try to make this entry as short and to the point as possible. PS: I'll be posting my CRAZY august soon :)

Friday Sept 1: Viv and I moved into REZ!!! We met our room mates (Amy, Christine, Lindsay and Tara) they are WICKED! They love sports and know the programs and know what they want to do and LOVE a good time! Viv and I set up our room and cleaned up a tad and just hung around and met some new people. My parents took me out for dinner then they went their on way. We played soccer that night with our floor (B1st Beavers) and it was a great time!

Saturday Sept 2: we woke up at around 10ish and got ready so that we could do registration and stuff so that’s what we did for most of the day. We met some more people, and of course, my parents helped us through it all (damn OSAP). After my parents left, a few of the other kids came over and (during dry week mind you…no alcohol or coming back drunk until Sept 11), me, Viv, Tara, Josh and Kyle got SMASHED on chiniggas…don’t ask…I have NO idea what it was…I thin it was some sort of vodka but yes, we drank that and played poker…Josh stole my “niggas” and my “natives”…that bastard! Then Viv and I got to know each other a bit more

Sunday Sept 3: Viv and I went to the book store to get our books and stuff…nothing too interesting, got things more settled in. Then we had to go to a play about sex and protection and date rape drugs, THEN we had to go to yet another seminar about how we have to watch out for boys…haha! The B1st Beavers went to play football! It was great fun :D I didn’t do as badly as some people might think I should have. Then we had a movie with the floor and watched Anchorman!

Monday Sept 4: Saw some more people, parents left (but didn’t find that out till I told them I was back in rez and they said that they were already on their way home! Hahah! Oh well, I guess having 2 kids already through it makes it not as hard). Monday was BEACH DAY! We went to the beach and met yet MORE people and went swimming in my jeans at our own personal beach! It was fantastic! It was a good time. That night, Viv, Tara, Amy and I played some beach volleyball and talked, it was nice :) then visiting our friend Ilia, e met one of his friends…damn…hot…and really nice and AHH!

Tuesday Sept 5: Viv and I played a room mate game (how well do you know your room mate) AND WE WON! Yay! I’m so proud of us! Then we went on a scavenger hunt as a floor and came in 3rd (the others had cars…) then there was a BBQ. After that, pretty much everyone in rez played a HUGE game of dodge ball! It was GREAT! After that, Tara, Amy, Viv and myself went to the beach and were joined by a bunch of there people so we played a big game of beach volley ball with them all (some were kind of hot….*drool*) but BEFORE volleyball, we swam to a huge rock that they have (well…there are tons…) and we went cliff jumping! It was fabulous! After that, we hung out with our good old night stalker Ilia…hahah! What a guy, then he came back to our room and played guitar for us for a bit. Then she and I talked for a few hours

Wednesday Sept 6: first day of classes! I had ONE class that day, computer science. It was alright, nothing too special, then I found some people that I had met so the 3 of us went for lunch, it was nice :) then back to the room. Viv and I decided we needed to go grocery shopping so we took one bus…brought us downtown, then took another one uptown to the store, then back downtown to catch a bus back to campus…ya…pretty retarded if you ask me…3 hours to do some fucking grocery shopping! Lol! That night, Viv and I thought we would be cool and drink by ourselves…again during dry week…haha! Then we went to visit Ilia and his room mates and we hung out. He then brought Viv and I to the most beautiful place on campus…a HUGE rock…the 3 of us watched the stars and talked and had a jolly good time.

Thursday Sept 7: I had 4 classes but couldn’t find one of them, so I didn’t go to it…I’ll go to it later. Spanish was good fun, native studies was really quite boring and not what I’m into so I’m either going to change that to religious studies or drama…which ever one I don’t take, I’ll take next year. Sociologie (yes, in French) I couldn’t find, so I’ll go next time and Psychology was pretty fun. METRIC TONIGHT!

A lot of people asked why I went to Laurentian…well I have quite the answer for you…the people, the rez, the courses, the campus is a BIG one (beautiful! Trails, beach, and SO many places for sports) you all have to come and visit!
