[Public] Full of Hate

Dear Internal Revenue Service,

If you're going to use a word (like, say, "distribution") in a way that gives it specific and unique meaning, please do so consistently. Using the same word to mean two different things (like, say, "money coming out of an HSA" and "money going into an HSA, under some circumstances") is just stupid.

...the kind of stupid that should, by all rights, earn you a paper cut for every page I just wasted figuring it out.

Dear H&R Block,

I paid good money I didn't really have for your software, which is supposed to provide guidance through the boggy wilderness of tax filing. However, more than simply being unhelpful with my issues this morning, the software was so lacking in useful information on HSAs that it created a conflict that I had to go to my HSA provider, the IRS forms and documentation, and finally the IRS helpline itself to resolve.

I've used your software in the past, and will probably continue to do so in the future, but this year, you FAIL!!
