OP here - I love this and what a great insert into the 'Red Headed League' (which I just finished re-reading a couple of days ago!!). Just lovely and sweet. I adored the awkwardness and clumsiness of their height difference and the determination of Holmes to keep dancing. Thank you!

It may be that I am a fast learner, although I sincerely doubt that. No, I believe that it was the perfect harmony of our bodies; Holmes's natural grace tempered with my own strong military bearing. Um, wow. I love everything about this! The fur coat deduction, plan B, Holmes' favorite violinist, backstage, on the feet! So wonderful! I typically hate first-person in fanfiction, but you've done it wonderfully! Thank you!
