so today in class i opened up some realllllllly old notebooks that i had from highschool and they were filled with lyrics. i thought this was interesting:

telecasts of autonomic leaders fill the walls of the pub that served the men in tophats.
capitalist sermons sang on the loudspeaker as the jeering and knocking of glasses clouded their eyes for their systemic minds.
woe is he who plays his part assigned from bowing down nations yielding to a lullaby of prominence.
a hope of providence that brings destruction to all except the balance on top of the pedestal.
measures were overlooked and weight bore down upon its people.
unity brings inequity, so far so good,
lets vomit the vitamins that numb our faces,
so long as we're staring at familiar places.
the friends and foes and all alike abandoned their glasses to join the fight.

i found this also:

there was tragedy in their smiles
stripped naked of sanguine masks
no explanation other than the looking glass
positioned in a ray of light
her skin glistened
reflects all her future and her past
no explanation other than the looking glass
