[ICONTEST!/MOD Post]
Sorry to do this twice in one day, but I just want to thank rphjas for our new one year paid account~ ;DDD I've got nothing much to do this evening, so I'll probably play around and get our mood theme and such up. Might put some pictures into the scrapbook and things as well, hm? It'd be nice to get a proper Shizuru and Natsuki gallery up and running. We'll see. -nod- Going to be unlazy and start tagging some things too. :3
Main reason for this post though, is our first little contest here at shizunatsu! :D We'll probably also be throwing a little fanfiction/fanart contest coming up, but that's in the planning stages right now. ^___^;; For now, we'll be having ourselves an icontest! We've got 35 icon spaces to fill, and only about half of them in use right now, so this'll give us a hand.
Anyway, onto the rules!:
- Make an icon to be one of the default icons of the community!
- Applications are open from today (June 6'th/06) until June 16th/06!
- Icons are, obviously, expected to be on topic. Please no general Mai HiME icons. We're looking for Shizuru or Natsuki; together, or apart. Just so long as they are the focus on your icon.
- Please, one icon per member. Post your icon on this post, as a comment. On the 16th, another post will be set up for voting purposes (with a link back here, so people can refresh their memories). Each member will vote for one icon out of the group of those submitted (and /only/ one). No one will be forced to vote, but it would be appreciated.
- After voting, the icons with the most votes will get used as default icons. If we don't have a big turn out, we may just use them all, but regardless in the end, the icon with the most votes over all will be used as default for the full month of July and end of June.
- What you're getting for winning isn't /exactly/ figured out yet, but we will tell you soon. For now, all I can promise is the satisfaction of your icon being the default shizunatsu and all that fame and glory that you /so/ know comes with that. XD
We have a fairly large community here people (almost over 100 members, aren't we?) and I think we can pull this contest off easily! So join in, and have fun!
