[DAY 05] Giving My Best
*** 05 ~ The song that gives you encouragement ***
Now,if you come to think about it,some--if not most--of the songs of KAT-TUN talk about having the courage to do something better in your life. When I started out in the fandom world as a Hyphen, I thought this was some kind of a group theme they had to set them apart from the other JE groups or the other singers in general. I just can't set this hunch with good back up proofs as I don't listen to songs of the other JE groups aside from Arashi much more listen to all the songs of all singers in the world. However, the fact remains that their songs generally sends out the message of a possibility that things will be better if we exert our best in our everyday dealings and to just continue giving our all.
In that light, I find it hard to choose one song. However, if I'd really delve into the words on the lyrics, I'd say their recent song PERFECT gives me encouragement best. It's more leaning to the pop genre and it's the upbeat rhythm that gives it a boost to..just warm my heart and make me think that I'm doing fine in this sometimes cruel world. Indeed, we can never really tell which road we end up, but it's our actions that would take us there. And as I move along with my journey, I'll be bringing PERFECT(and their whole discography) with me as a reminder that I'm not alone. We're all under the same sky, after all (Yamato Nadeshiko).
Unfortunately, this song doesn't have a PV. I was thinking they'd make one, but their beautiful performance on Music Station was good enough to fill my hopes. :) What with the awesome cherry blossoms as props, wasn't that lovely?
