So..I'm determined to keep this challenge and by determined, I mean finishing the first task before I hit the sack.
*** 01 ~ The song that made you a HYPHEN ***
Yes,in my case, it's definitely a song. The whole song,to be very exact. You see, I've heard and known a lot of people who would say that they love a song when in fact what they love was the rhythm or the tune with complete disregard to the lyrics. I find that utterly hilarious as you couldn't call one a song if it does not have its lyrics.
I can't say how many times I've recalled the moment I became a fan of KAT-TUN, a Hyphen, to fellow fans. Even so, I still feel the same excitement when recalling that time and I don't feel tired. This is actually the first time that I'm gonna make a document out of it.
It all started with my sudden urge to roam around YouTube. Just why did I hit KAT-TUN? It was weeks after a friend of mine introduced them to me(via Yukan Club) and realizing I haven't seen them perform, much less hear them sing, I decided to check them out. Honestly, it was my 2nd time to hit them up, but the first try shocked me with a scarcity of resources.(Now I perfectly know why)
There I saw, among the top three results, a video of their Utaban performance of Love Yourself ~ Kimi ga Kirai na Kimi ga Suki ~. The stage was a white cube-like design with tons of white light. They were all funky and each had his own style of funkiness. They were still 6nin then. One was so badass I thought he was really cool;he turned out to be Tanaka Koki. One appeared to be the man of my dreams. I can totally see the physical features of my ideal guy in him and he turned out to be Ueda Tatsuya. One, I thought to be a drag queen or an androgynous or a gay of some sort. I am so sorry for that. But I extremely thought he was so handsome so, all the while, I was praying that he's not gay so he can still be mine. He's Kazuya Kamenashi, btw. And another one resembled Kim Hyun Joong with those large aviator sunglasses and leather jacket. He turned out to be Akanishi Jin. I know the other guy at the back was Junnosuke Taguchi for his wonderful rendition of Bido Granmarie. The other one I felt was a castaway. He looked too decent and shy to be around those punks--if you know what I mean. Plus, he resembled my cousin.lol. He's my bias now, Nakamaru Yuichi and on a second thought, he belongs to that group.
Even the first few notes already attracted me. That is very important. Those first few notes were very striking. Thankfully, that video had subtitles so I was reading while listening and then it hit me. This is the song of my life. No. Seriously. What I believe how love should be in this world is written in this song. I really think for us to love others,we ought to learn to love ourselves first. everything.. the good and the bad..
I can't remember who uploaded the video or who subbed it, but a huge thanks to those people.(See PV of song
