Those of you who's seen the magazine cover of Michael and Mia with the fencing foil probably realise that this is a parody of it. Why do it? Because I can! :D
And because I'm a bit of a masochist. James McAvoy's face is harder to paint than I initially thought! Michael is all sharp angles and symmetry, but James' face is full of interesting shapes, and while they make him quirky and curiously attractive, it's hard to get it right in digital paint. OTL
Anyways, I hope you guys like it!
And yes, the clothes they are wearing are shamelessly stolen from the House of Magnus 'uniforms' in House of M. Why yes! Charles is wearing Erik's informal robe, but nobody cares, right?!
ETA: While I was painting this, I kept thinking about this story where Charles and Erik are tied to an arranged marriage, and during one of Charles' fundraiser parties, a journalist snapped a photo of 'the loving couple'. Go read it now for it is - wait for it - awesome!
