I Feel Pretty... Oh So Pretty~ <3
Hey hey, yo yo... I'm coming back here for a second entry, so I guess I must like this place.
I joined a few communities last night and posted a few comments. I might put up a story in one community soon. I plan to before the week is out.
Today was a pretty good day... here's the class by class breakdown.
Honors Biology was a bit boring and I got a good amount of homework from it, but nothing compared to the monster assignment last night.
I didn't have P.E. today because it was a lab day, but we ended up watching a movie on viruses as our lab... I won't argue there! Beats doing a lab write-up!
Journalism was just running throughout the Anthony Building (my high school has two, two-story buildings: the Anthony Building and Patton Building) scheduling interviews and stuff.
Spanish was uneventful; our second day with a substitute. We had to translate pages out of our textbook but it wasn't that hard. As long as you study the vocab in that class you can pass. Hm...
Geometry was boring and I got homework in it, but I got my notebook check back. 87% (B+)... yaaay, I didn't fail like I thought I would! I usually get Cs or Ds on notebook checks even though I'm an A/B student.
Lunch was nuts, though. I just bought some poptarts and drank my Vitamin Water so I could run off to do an interview with the head of the freshman class, but when I got there, I found out he wasn't in today. Haha... oh, the irony.
Honors English was interesting. We talked more about "Great Expectations", the book we're reading. It's yet another book by the famous Charles Dickens who - aside from "A Christmas Carol" - bores me to death. At least we spent the majority of class talking about Australia and Family Guy. Yay for having a teacher who lets us go on tangents!
Lastly, World Cultures was as quick and repetitive as ever. Go in class, sit down, take out notebook, wait for class to start, copy notes off the board, listen to teacher's rant on something totally unrelated to whatever the lesson that day is, take an extremely easy quiz, pack up, leave class to walk to the buses and GO HOME.
Yeah... I dunno why today was good, honestly. I guess because there wasn't any real drama. Shocker. Just two more days of school left this week! I'm out Friday to get my acursed braces taken off. Finally, after all these years!
