So I haven't really updated in a while and i felt like you all might want to know what's been going on.
Still looking for a job, no luck yet. This is really hard hopefully something will give soon and someplace I applied will give me a sweet job. Worked a few odd jobs lately to get some money for the Holidays and the like. Besides that nothin' much has been going on.
I did want to let you all in on my little adventure I had this weekend. I'll preface with the fact that everything ended well. On Saturday I was tasked with watching my sister's dog Kylee while she and Rachel (a close family friend and the current keeper of the dog) went to Philadelphia for the weekend. One of the things I was to do was take the dog to the dog park nearby. I wasn't too interested in it, but My mom and Marilyn said they would go with me and take Gizmo (Marilyn's dog) along. We all went and had some fun watching the dogs run around an socialize with each other. After we all got tired and cold we hopped back in the car Marilyn driving, my mom in the back with the dogs and I rode shotgun and headed home. We were driving down 211 by Orange county Airport (for those of you familiar with the area) when Someone in a pickup truck tries to make a left across our lane of travel. Needless to say it didn't end well.
We ended up having a nice head on Collision, Airbags deployed, Dogs went flying. No fun. Now Gizmo is a Pekingese, and Kylee is an Australian Shepard so Gizmo flew under my seat and kylee just flipped out. I spent the rest of the time on the side of the road holding Kylee as she stried to run off and My mom carried Gizmo around because he was to afraid and was shaking like a leaf. We were all fine, a little shaken up and a little sore, but nothing serious. the other driver got beat all around in the face, I don't think they had their seatbelt on. When we collided we spun them all the way so the were facing the same direction as us. Anyway, the pics after the cut are the aftermath of the accident. Like I said before, everyone is ok including the dogs.
the front of our car
Driver side of our car, you can see where the other car scarped along the driver side doors after we hit and spun it around.
The "other" car, by the looks of their car and my recollection before the crash and airbag deployed was they noticed what they were doing was a very bad idea and tried to turn back into the other lane. The obviously didn't quite make it.
yeah, that's about it. Hope all is well with you!
