glee episode 1.04/2.04 parallels and predictions for episode 5

i don't have a pretty side-by-side for the 4th episodes. it wasn't as neatly packaged and easily cap-able but there were definitely some intentional parallels:

• sam "coming out" about his hair color
• a strong focus on quinn and kurt
• kurt having a heart-to-heart with burt
• football player(s) joining glee club
• and even a little nod to the pregnancy drama started in 104:

rachel: hey, i have something i want to talk to you about.
kurt: please, not another pregnancy.

as for episode 5, besides the obviously parallel of mckinley doing a school play (with queer themes) i'm predicting the parallel will be a line reused, maybe by the same character or maybe a different one (sam maybe?):
