Revamp
The word (from a few days ago) is that LJ is adamantly refusing try to fix the crossposting problem (the gist is that some DW user's crossposting was using the wrong password, so LJ blocked DW entirely; all they need to do to fix the issue is re-whitelist DW), so DW has disabled crossposting to LJ - if they left it on, it would just continue to fail.
This leaves me to have to do crossposting manually, which I'm fine with, except I'm dreading crossposting stories (and I have a good number of them to post, actually). Sure, it's just a matter of copy/pasting, but... I just don't like it.
And then I thought, "Why in the world am I actually posting the stories to DW/LJ? Why am I not just posting a link to AO3?" It's better to just post the link - that makes AO3 the source of truth, so that whenever I find a typo or something I can just fix it there and don't have to go hunting it down here.
So that's the path going forward. Post to AO3, link on DW, copy/paste link to LJ.
