we are so doomed
The small campfire grew as another log was placed over it, causing the flames to rises up to 10 feet. On this cold, dark night, the fire could’ve been seen for miles, if it wasn’t for the dense forest all around. As a man with a ripped up blue jacket sharpened what was a sword that was taped to a revolver, as he sharpened it, he looked into the eyes of the man sitting across from him, and was growing angry. He lifted his sword and cocked the gun, standing over the flame that was close to engulfing his arm. As he was prepared to fire, 3 girls stood in front, one with multi color hair, one with long blond hair, and one with short brown, they all telling him to put it down. He was silent, eyes looking at all 4 of them, and then he heard swords, he looked around, all his friends were there, pointing the swords at him, some far away, some touching his skin, feeling the cold on his skin he tightened up, and sweat came down his face. The fire was now surrounding his arm, he felt the burning pain, but held his ground one thing came to mind on that one face he couldn’t recognize but his gut told him, pull the trigger. He felt pain in the back and side, he looked down, and a sword pierced his lower body, he felt the coldness of the blade within his body. He turned his head and found his best friend had literally stabbed him in the back, he fired in the air and ran, until he lost too much blood, then his eyes closed, he was dead…….
“Ahhhhhhhh” yelled the man in his sleeping bag, the fire had dimmed down, and the morning dew was on the leaves of overhanging trees.
“Let me guess Shiv, another nightmare?” asked Santosh as he stirred the fire pit.
“Yea” replied Shiv as he placed his ripped up jacket on his shoulder and drank cold water from his canteen, the ice cold water felt nice on his dry mouth.
“You need to see a doctor” said Overhaul as he turned to his other side and went back to sleep.
“I agree, now shut up” said the new recruit as he fell back to sleep as well. Santosh and Shiv looked at each other and decided that it was time to get back to work, the silent forest soon became noisy with machinery and hammering. They were working on a prototype for a new transport ship, and it was a secret to the neighboring schools, like kennedy, chatsworth, and canyon, which Shiv and his team were not fond of, and this ship was meant to be as a small joke, just to show they were better then the rest.
“Hey guys, this is mason and Kenny, we are wondering what is up?” the radio behind the new recruit which they decided to call him cold hand.
“What can we do for you guys?” asked overhaul as he put down a piece of the window.
“Theres been a rupture in space by mars, how’s the new ship coming along, we want it to check it out, because ours aren’t in the best condition, asteroid belt.” Mason started
“No need to say more, those can be a bitch, we will get it ready in 2 hours, but we can send everyone to the base to help with the repairs if you need” said Shiv as he “accidently” dropped a piece of the wing on cold hands foot. As he jumped around in pain, Mason told them to send Shiv and santosh. They left leaving overhaul and cold hand in the forest, working on the new ship. As 2 hours passed they finished and took the ship in the air, and into space, the ship was tube shaped, and held 10 passengers, as it hit the atmosphere, wings popped out and it cleared.
“I love this thing” said cold hand as he did a barrel role as he made overhaul sick to his stomach. They glided through space; looking at all the it had to offer, as they reached mars, they noticed something on the radar.
“Did you see that, it was so fast” overhaul said as he looked through the screen, and activated the cloak, as they came closer, they saw these fighters fly by, with tremendous speed, and another and another, as they came closer to the rift, there were hundreds of these small ships, tripod looking ships. And the wings went in front of the cockpit so it gave it more protection, and they were not alone, they were with 4 ring shaped ships, with windows in the front, and what looked like a huge cannon.
“I am not liking this” whispered cold hand as he decided to pull out and head back to earth, but was not as stealthy s he had hoped, he bumped into one of the smaller ships, and all of them started to follow. Shooting these red bullets that exploded after awhile, not welcoming to the new transport ship. As they passed the moon, they say two azrian ships around orbit, they sent an alarm, and the ships recalled it.
“Come in between us, we will od the best we can” said one of the ships, as they enemy fighters came witht eh 4 cruisers, the azrian ships were seriously out numbered, and out gunned.
“Here they come!!!!!!!!” said one of the gunners of the ship and guns started blasting and missiles were set off, the battle started, and it was looking grim for earth.
