Have you ever done something so wonderfull stupid that you yourself could hardly fathom how you could do such a thing? Well I have. Yesterday. I had gone over to Deborah's house so that we could meet up and go play DDR. I had a bunch of presents on my front seat that I was bringing down to my family since I will be celebrating christmas in Virginia. I was so concerned with situating those properly that I seemed to have forgotten that I placed my purse on the back of my trunk. Deborah's purse is also red and was sitting in the seat so I think in my hurried state I just assumed it was mine. We were going down the road when I heard a small clunk. I said, "did you hear that?" Deborah says yes but we don't see anything so we keep going. Then I hear a series of things falling. I say "DID I LEAVE THE TRUNK OPEN??" But no the trunk wasn't open. I saw something red go flying back in my rearview mirror and assumed I had just run over something.
When I arrived at the bowling alley I realized what the red thing was. We frantically drove back. There was no sign of my purse anywhere. Thinking someone had stole it but not wanting to give up I started running around the entrance ramp to the highway. There were some men doing construction in that area and when I ran across the street into the entrance ramp to grab my phone they yelled "mamm!!!" I though nooo I have to get my phone. Upon picking my phone up though I realized it was in awful shape. The battery was gone, the screen was cracked. They informed me it had been run over my an eighteen wheeler. It was a brand new phone.
They did have something though. They had found my wallet. A man had stopped in a pickup truck and grabbed the bag apparently. But luckily the wallet had fallen out elsewhere and the construction workers had gotten it. Nothing was missing and they were very sweet. Bad thing? My digital camera was either stolen or smashed somewhere that I could not see. I didn't cry, I just feel bad mostly cause my father just bought me that phone, and I saved my money for that camera...they're just things though...
What I'm most worried about at the moment is that I'm feeling bad again and I feel like doctors are giving me the brush off. It's no fun...I'm worried and home sick from work. Little did I know Amiee was going to be late this morning too. I have a feeling Kinkos opened a half an hour late...I feel like such a jerk...Why can't I be well?
