The lakehouse

When I watch these kinds of movies
There’s always a part that sticks on me.
Maybe it’s a good thing
That I don’t have to go to work
So I can appreciate the memory some more
Amongst the silence of a day going away.
The lakehouse
Is a movie to be read,
More than seen.
It’s a quiet story,
Told with a soft voice,
It doesn’t try to grab your attention
Nor does it annoy with infinite silences.
It’s the magic of whispers-
You can hear them only if you listen.
Little daily miracles
That don’t change the world
But that the world is made of.
A little, big love story
Amongst two little, big persons.
One of those rare movies
Of which I’d like to read the book.
