I now own a scooter
Or at least, I have paid a deposit for a scooter that will arrive at the end of December. As I have no income, my mom has reinstated my allowance of 83 dollars per pay period to help me. (Why 83, you ask? Since I need to be able to withdraw it from an ATM and fees are up to 3 dollars these days [this is not strictly true-- I can do it for free at Target and some CVS's] and i need it to be a multiple of 20. I used to get 62 dollars, but now I have expensive law school tastes and fees have gone up by a dollar.)

In other news, I bought the 3rd book in the Eragon series. Eragon is a terrible book and Eldest was even worse, but at least the whole thing will be over in Brisingr. I'm kind of dreading reading it, but I need to do it, like, tonight so that I can send it to my brother for his birthday. Since I only have one class on Friday and it starts at noon, I should be able to knock it out if I really want to, which I don't.
