Rodents and Pigskin and Updates. Oh, my.
We don't have any groundhogs in the area, so this February 2nd we kept our eyes peeled for another rodent - there's a rat living under the neighbor's shed, making quick, skulking shuttle runs out to our bird feeder and back. (He's been emboldened, I think, by the squirrels.) This morning we saw him, scuttling through the fence, so you know what that means: six more weeks of rat poison.
I'm not a fan of the Superbowl. I'm not a fan of either team. I am, however, a fan of homemade guacamole dip and garlic lime chicken fajitas, so we're gearing up for that in short order.
And I wanted to point out that I'm on Wordpress now, with more of those work samples in a professional portfolio - and really, once you get used to the interface, it's pretty easy to load in content. I'm surprised I haven't done it sooner, actually.
