I've been busy. I've drifted from Marketing to Sales at my job (and anyone who's ever done that will tell you: it's a one-way trip), the shop tells me they're all out of Liars' Dice tumblers - again - and I haven't been sleeping much, and to be straight up about it, I just haven't been feelin' the writer's impetus lately. Call it a dry spell, call it a dropped feed, whatever.
But a couple nights ago, I finally sat down and hammered out the end of a chapter and a story that a friend of mine and I started collaborating and posting on the web in a serial format, WELL before anyone had to take their shoes off at the airport. And now, at last, I can mentally clear the decks of this thing.
Provided, of course, the last 500 words can get written.
