Test, one two... This thing still on?
Every now and again, I'll get a notification from this account, telling me that someone's having a birthday or something, and I'll say to myself, "Damn, is that still active?" I thought someone might have flushed the account due to inactivity or something, but I guess that's the way of the world now... We are nothing if not an aggregate of every sign-in and sign-up we've ever completed. It's part of my digital footprint, even though I last passed this way 7 years ago. That's the entire lifespan of a person (who likely has their own accounts by now, and let's face it, not on this platform).
But as it offends me that I get pinged by this and then see entries from 2016, here I am, adding wordcount and posting to it. If you find this, I hope y'all are doing well, and I wish you a very merry and happy Log Flume Ride Into New Years'.
