well i think that was the shortest time i've ever been employed. march 28 to april 14th. so i get hired on to my bloody dream job, and then i get a message on my answering machine from the boss. she's discovered that she has really hired too many people, and she's laying me off. because i live the farthest away, don't you know-- she's really doing me a favor. and she couldn't even tell me in person like a decent human being, she leaves a fucking voicemail message.
