Settling In
So in light of livejournal going to great lengths to be as annoying to me as possible, I'm gonna start defaulting to this as my journal. Which is fine, but all the setup I need to do, so much to customize, organize, sheesh. I have to find a day when I can just sit down and do it all (instead of getting sidetracked by tumblr or Skyrim).
In other news, this is the last day I'm 24. And yet the thing I'm looking forward to the most is not my birthday tomorrow, but the Sherlock premiere on New Year's. Yeah, I think my priorities are in the right place.
To celebrate (the premiere, not my birthday), I've been writing all sorts of ficlets, mostly on tumblr as an exercise of writing my ideas down right then and there. No more prevaricating and taking days to writing a small simple thing, just a rough and ready ficlet. I've been collecting them all into a series on AO3 so far, trying to stagger when I update them so I don't flood the tags with my randomness. But it's nice to see all my little flashes of talent in an accessible form.
But that's all for now, I've got massive chores to do before work, and it's good to get them done now while I'm in the mood.
