so this weekend started off well... then turned to crap.
friday was valentines day. went smoothly. not really romantic but it was just sorta silly. which i kinda like better anyway.

saturday we slept in then walked around church street. lots of window shopping, but i fought the urge to be a consumer. yay me. i also managed not to freeze to death. go me again.

then we tried to get friends together for bowling. but everyone sucks and was unavail. It was better w/ just chris and i though. Lots of fun, w/ no one else to cater to.

We rented 'Signs'.....
WATER?!?!??!? that's how you beat the aliens?? water??? i'm sorry but that was just stupid. So i'm a water-soluble alien... i attack a planet that is composted mostly of water??? huh? ............. i'm also capable of inter-stellar travel yet i am baffled by pantry doors.. wha?

asside from that.. we got a call about 1/2 way through the movie (~1a) from friends. Their newborn was in the hospital w/ pnemonia, could we please watch their 7 yr old.
heh. KRAP.
So much for curling up and going to sleep.
after a bad night of sleeping on the couch at their house...
babysitting began.

How are you supposed to get anything done when you have a seven year old? You can't wait for a seat at a restraunt. You can't hop around from restraunt to restraunt trying to find one that doesn't have a waiting line cause it's freezing cold out.
NO we aren't eating at Friendlys or Pondarosa(sp?). The both suck and i'm not sure either serves real food. And if you aske me 50 more times the answer is still NO.
i assure you kid, your 7 years of being stubborn is nothing compared to my 24 years of it.
*sigh*
too needy. yuck. on some levels i understand those parents who plop their kids in front of the tv to shut them up.
my homework and taxes didn't get done. grrr.
luckily i was able to return the kid at 7:30p. He was sleeping over at a friends sunday night. phew.
i ate and went to bed.
zzzzzzzzz

so... are you covered in snow? HA! i'm not. too far north. The wussy U.S. snow never makes it up here. must be too cold. :) HA! Canadian snow is really the only stuff we get here.

sleepie.
