My Artemis Shrine Scene for SMFXXVI
There is an opportunity at Spring Mysteries for people to come and visit invoked priests(acting as voice and vessel) for each of the gods; to ask their wisdom and perspective, seek to dedicate to themselves to that god, etc.
As a cast member you are to write a Shrine Scene: a guide fro what you are to say to the people that come and see you.
Invariably, it comes out differently for each situation and its not always entirely memorized. So I have decided to post what I wrote out here; so that people can see my wonderful wordsmithing and hopefully get some perspective on this goddess..

Enter, welcome to the wilderness, what is your purpose in this place?
You have wandered far away from the safety of civilization and here into my realm, I am the Goddess Artemis; Steward of the forests and mountains, Eternal Maiden of the Waxing Moon and Guardian of the innocence and independence of growing young, fiercely protective of all within my realm. You have come to my grove unannounced and seen me in respite; such an act is usually met with a swift death; but this is a place of celebration and the uniqueness of that is blessing in and of itself. Do you see that? The Gods walk among you, showing you that it is a rarity that we come together and exist in harmony; but for this festival, for you mortals, we reveal ourselves in our Glory and with our Flaws. We are here also for guidance; Mine is a message of Mindfulness; think of your actions before you take them as to whether they will affect your world around you and how. Go forth and take purposeful steps; see these gods and hear their messages for the Blessings that they are.

You know me and my role and you come with nothing that you need of me? I do not believe you; every step that we take has purpose, or well it should. Mine is a message of Mindfulness; think of your actions before you take them as to whether they will affect your world around you and how. Maybe then, you will cause less destruction. Every human is an agent of destruction as well as creation. I was given the wild as my realm because I understood that it was my Role to maintain the balance of such; to undo the damages done to the innocence of the forest, to protect the delicate ecology of the forests, mountains and to give space for power, creativity and understanding to blossom in those that find their way and walk along their path with intent and awareness. You have come to my realm, obviously drawn here for some reason; Mine is a message of mindfulness Keen sight and purpose; know your purpose; which is not as complicated as you make it to be. Take the time to suss when it is right to take your next step; be patient that your target will come to you, and then go forth without hesitation, without remorse and be open to all of the responsibilities of what comes out of those actions. Then you will truly have purpose here.
Why do you seek my Blessing? What would it provide you? (wait for answer),
My Blessing is that of intentional thought; I am slave to my own blood driven revenge and forcefulness death when necessary. I have come to terms with my actions because I know the consequences of the steps I take and know that the role I fulfill is what The Fates dictated for me. As a mortal your mind can become muddled with the inconsequential and you lose sight of what damage your steps can make to your path; I offer you Keen sight and purpose; know your purpose; which is not as complicated as you make it to be. Take the time to suss when it is right to take your next step; be patient that your target will come to you, and then go forth without hesitation, without remorse and be open to all of the responsibilities of what comes out of those actions. Is this Blessing something that you can undertake?
