Where the...
I have no idea where time goes. Just seems to evaporate.
So another week has gone by. To update the post from a couple weeks ago; the landlord did make it out to replace the hot water tank. New problem crept up today though. As I was went to put the last load of laundry from the washer into the drier today; I came down to a pool of water in the basement. Apparently the drainage pipe was blocked somewhere outside as there was dirt on the floor under the pool of water. We got it unclogged for now and put in a call to the landlord. I also called the next door neighbour and they reported it to the landlord yesterday as they were experiencing the same problem... *sigh*
But it wasn't all doom and gloom over the last 2 weeks. My lesbian came up and we went to Tegan and Sara last Sunday. I went to a friends place for a video game night and made a couple of appearances at PubliQ. PubliQ is a new gay night at a straight bar called Hooliganz here in Edmonton on Friday nights. They're the same bar that hosts the Bring Your Own Queer events on the third Saturday every month. Speaking of gay nights at straight bars, I made it to my first Beers for Queers night at the Empress Ale House too. I also got to go to the WEM Waterpark last night for $10. The social club at work was offered tickets so I jumped all over that. The Social Club will also be renting the waterpark in September with $10 tickets. Will keep my readers here (*chuckle*) updated. I also have access to $10 tickets to Galaxyland for May 4th that I may post about again soon.
Past that... I am really looking forward to my trip to Dallas this week :) First trip to the states since November 2011 and first bear run since March of 2011. Oh my! lol.
