Totally a FREAKING GROWN UP!
In case I haven't told everyone in the known universe yet, I am now course coordinator for the Foundation Degree, although somehow still only a supply teacher. It's a bit of extra work at a time when I have tonnes of work, but it's pretty damn awesome and will look brilliant on my CV if I want to look at FE or HE teaching jobs.
Pretty much everything has been about work at the moment, it's crazy this time of year and now all the students recognise me as a lecturer, not just 'the lecturer covering for Diana'. This means I end up dealing with at least 2 things at once all day.
Last weekend was the Jackal event. Had some pretty good moments and it was good to see everyone, but I didn't really get into the plot. I think Tabiakey needs more of a 'character' rather than just being another person in a red robe.
Had a nice time this weekend in Cardiff with Cat and Cheryl and Mat, then Sunday more working, surprise surprise.
More pub quiz tonight. We're definitely beating 28 this time!
